It is a good time for America

Well I think it is great that we have the new president Obama in office. The fact is though what we have is what is hopefully going to be a great president. What is my problem is those people my age or around that are up on tv preaching about having a black president. I feel that Yes you should be more than proud and loud of all races if you were alive in those dark times. Alot of us weren't and were raised to see equally. Why do people like Usher who was raised in an equal America get up and speak of the rascism of the past that he shouldn't have been alive for. I have always seen nothing but a human race. It seems that so many of us are talking too much about the race thing when it had nothing to directly do with us. Then you have Billy Baldwin up there talking about Rosa Parks. Hey I am proud that he is President but not for his race. I am proud to have an American in office that I hope and feel will do great things for America. I understand though that those people who were alive back then to have had to deal with those horrible dark issues of history should be more than proud and screaming with their pride from roof tops. For the rest of us we have no place to speak on it. I have always been equal to any other person in the world where ever we are from and where our blood comes from. His winning the election had nothing to do with whatever race he is cause as far as I saw it he was an American that led a good race deserving a win to presidency. It is time to grow up people. We didn't just come out of dark times. My entire generation was raised without all this so why is it being brought up by my generation. We have no room to speak on the hate of the past. I am proud to have this American president in office. Stop dragging the hate farther into the future. If you weren't a part of those dark times then it is time to shut up be proud of the new president and let anyone who should speak on it speak. We are all human. God created us all equal with the dust of the earth using every color within. It is time to just be proud to be alive and hope that this new president does well. It only bothers like I said that people who have no ground to speak on it are up there preaching about things that should have had no efffect on their lives. So if you were around back then be proud. If you weren't then just sit back and be happy we have a new president that we all equally want to do great things.
